Sushi rice box Metos Blue Box

From the mixing machines the rice is put straight into sushi rice boxes, that need to be very clean and hygienic. The Metos Blue Box sushi rice box is made with dishwasher standard measurements, so that its cleaning with, for example, a hood washing machine is easy. When the rice needs to be preserved for a longer period, the box is lined with a liquid absorbing protective paper that is available separately. It is recommended to use the sushi rice immediately after its preparation, as a longer preserving period does not make the rice taste better. In addition, a longer preserving time creates new requirements for food safety, that need to be taken into consideration.
