Terms and conditions of sale of Metos Webshop

Metos Webbutik is an online store managed by Metos Storkök AB (reg. no. 556158-9523) that sells products to corporate customers and the public sector. Unless otherwise stated in these terms of sale, all agreements are governed by the Swedish Sale of Goods Act. The Metos online store is hereafter referred to as "online store", Metos Storkök AB as "Metos" and users of the service as "Customer".

General
The web shop metos.se delivers only in Sweden. The web shop's prices are in SEK ex. VAT. All prices are stated with the delivery clause DDP, transport packaging included. Prices do not include installation or training at the customer's premises. All deliveries are insured for transport damage on behalf of the seller. Due to continuous product development, Metos reserves the right to make changes to its products, product information and prices. Metos may unilaterally modify its sales conditions by presenting information about the changes in its Web shop. All orders are governed by the then current prices and conditions of sale. Regulatory changes come into force on the date indicated and apply without prior notice.

Delivery time
An estimated delivery time is given for each product when ordering. Stocked items are usually dispatched the following working day and delivery to the customer takes place within 2-5 working days.

Shipping
Shipping cost on orders under 5000 SEK is 500 SEK. Free shipping over 5000 SEK ex. VAT.

Payment method
Payment card (Visa, Mastercard)

Responsibility in case of lack of agreement
If a fault is found in the product or service, Metos must be informed of the matter and given an opportunity to verify and rectify the problem. Depending on the situation, the product may be replaced or repaired, or the issue may be resolved by reducing the price. Metos' liability shall in all circumstances be limited to the purchase price paid by the customer. Metos is not liable for any direct or indirect costs or loss of income arising from a faulty product.

Data security
The information provided by the customer is stored in the Metos customer register. The information is used to manage and maintain the customer relationship. Metos does not share this information with any third party. Privacy policy is available. Metos E-services use cookies to improve performance and enhance the user experience. Cookies can be disabled by following the instructions for changing your browser settings. Disabling cookies may prevent certain features of the website from working properly.

Application of the conditions of sale
By ordering products from the online store, the customer accepts these terms and conditions.

Meto's general sales conditions


Prices
Prices are in SEK ex. VAT. We reserve the right to change prices if exchange rates, VAT, manufacturing costs, customs duties or other charges or costs beyond the supplier's control change before the delivery date.

Delivery
DDP. Packaging is included in the price. Any shipping and installation costs will be charged separately.

Proprietary rights
All goods remain the property of Metos Storkök Ab until full payment is made including interest and costs.

 

Warranty and returns

The goods sold by Metos Storkök AB are guaranteed against material and manufacturing defects. The warranty period is one (1) year. The warranty only applies to the original purchaser in Sweden. A buyer making a warranty claim may be asked to certify the applicable warranty. Requests for repair must be made during the warranty period and without delay either directly to Metos or to an authorised service centre. If possible, fixed and stationary equipment will be repaired on site. Easily removable units are delivered to the service centre by the customer at their own expense and risk. Fixed appliances are delivered to the customer at their expense using the chosen method of transport.

Returns
Returns of goods are accepted provided that the delivery did not correspond to the order or the goods were faulty and a complaint was made within 8 days of receipt of the goods. Returns must always be arranged in advance with Metos.
